Worn out skillets

I've got 7 skillets that I'm about to throw out. Several are destroyed teflon. Two are the new no-stick that suck. Any ideas on what can be done with these? Take the handles off and ??? Paint the skillets and ??? I hate throwing things away.

1. They make great water catchers under

house plants. Remove the handles, sand them a bit, paint them, let dry and set under plant pots.
