Any frugal places to obtain toner and ink cartridges

5. I just wanted to say thank you for the LD products link.

I desperately needed some printer ink and was short on funds. I saw your post and ordered four cartridges (black plus the three colors) for my Epson printer on Thursday, January 28th. Since I'm also in California they arrived the next day!!! I thought I was going to have to wait until Monday (tomorrow) at the earliest.

Including tax and shipping, it worked out to less than the cheapest price I could find on eBay for the same four cartridges--WITHOUT the tax and shipping. I put the black cartridge into my printer right away and it works fine.

Thanks again for the link. I wish all problems could be solved that easily!

7. Help me understand, because I really don't know.

I didn't realize folks still used those color ink cartidges for everyday printing. Pictures, I can understand using color.

But for regular use, a Hewlett-Packard Laserjet printer (black print only) suits me just fine. A TONER cartridge once in awhile is economical. This last one I have used for several years (personal use only, it was about $80).

And a Laser printer prints in seconds.

8. WalGreens refills for $10 black/$15 color

I haven't bought a new cartridge in 2 years. If there's a problem with the cartridge after they refill it they have a money back guarantee. I haven't needed it.
