Free Chicken for NonVegan Friends

KFC wasn't taking their own coupon on Mother's Day. Now they aren't taking their coupon at all. But I found out that someone is taking these coupons on Mother's Day for free chicken. http://thriftymaven.com/?p=1925 I called and found out that my local restaurant is honoring this coupon.

I have finally weaned myself off of red meat and I'm slowly trying to wean myself off chicken and fish. Now that i'm growing my first vegetable garden maybe I will be successful. Anyway, If you still have those KFC coupons check out this article.

PS I love reading some of the great suggestions in this thread. My husband was laid off back in November the day before Thanksgiving. He's been looking for a job ever since. The plant where he used to work will close permanently in about a month. The jobs that were once there are all headed overseas. This will devastate this area. The tips I get here really help us stretch my salary. Thanks.
