Looking into buying solar shingles when we redo the roof in the next year.
My husband has been looking around and found we could do the house for $20k. it is quite an investment and was wondering if anyone else has experience with solar shingles and if they have had good experience with them.

That it depends on where you live. If you live in a really hot climate, you will use more power in extra cooling than they will produce. They are essentially useless in a place like Arizona.

2. i live in WNY and we get direct sunlight most of the day here
on our roof.
