12 Hours of Sebring on TV this weekend
Coverage begins this Saturday March 21st at 9:00 AM central time on Speed Channel. There is a two hour break beginning at 11:00 AM so they can cover NECKAR practice or some shit like that. :eyes:
Coverage of the 12 Hour resumes at 1:00 PM until the checkered flag.

This is the final season for the Corvette GT1 program. They are scheduled to run the C6R at Sebring, Long Beach and Le Mans before moving down to compete in GT2 at Mid Ohio this summer.

They will have much more competition from the likes of Porsche and Ferrari in GT2 but it is sad to see the GT1 rocket ship approaching retirement.

1. Peugeot is fastest during testing on Tuesday.
Audi has been known to hold back in testing and even in qualifying. I would not be surprised if they have some speed to spare when the green flag drops on Saturday.

"After setting fastest times yesterday Audi had to settle for second and third today, positions that hardly seemed to bother anyone at the Audi squads. The #07 Peugeot 908 set the fastest lap, stopping the clocks in 1:44.555. The #2 Audi R15 was only a quarter of a second behind, while the #1 was just over a second slower in this session than the Peugeot.
Autocon Motorsports and Intersport Racing made their first laps around the track during the session, their Lola’s still somewhat off the pace of the cars that ran before."

4. ALMS is definitely hurting this year.
Losing Audi was huge. Maybe they will be back after Le Mans.

I bet Acura is pissed, too, after investing in a LMP1 program, they have nobody to really race with.
