| IT work in Phoenix Arizona |
|
The company I am working for in Phoenix Arizona has IT positions.
I really like working for this company. Having been one of the IT people who has been struggling as a result of the IT job exodus it was wonderful to find this company. I have been there three months now.
The company has been in business for almost 100 years. In some ways it is like taking a step back in time as this company seeks longevity, gives out service awards, and has excellent benefits.
The technology is an integral part of the business. They certainly aren't bleeding edge. Yet, it seems they have steadily moved forward in a very pragmatic way. They treat their employees very well. They have extra incentives for the IT staff, such as working at home one day a week, random drawing for gas certificates, and other little perks. They don't pressure anyone into working overtime.
I find it difficult to comprehend but they are struggling to keep IT staffed. There have been several come and go since I have been there. I have to believe it will, if not yet, start seriously jeopardize their business.
I am rambling a bit here, because I don't really know how to articulate what I am thinking. Frankly, I am almost ashamed of my colleagues. I have been quick to criticize corporations for outsourcing our jobs. Somehow it doesn't seem right a company, such as this, can't retain the resources required. As jobs continue to bleed from our country I would like to think that the workforce would attempt to bring more value.
At any rate, I believe this company deserves people that appreciate it. There aren't many around like them anymore. If you are looking for IT work, send me a message and I'll give you all the details.
Thanks!!
