The Kohler Company in Wisconsin will see an informational picket this afternoon. The company has proposed a two-tier wage and benefit system that would see pay for new workers and those returning from layoffs being slashed by 35 percent. The company also wants current employees to accept a five year wage freeze. The union has called for a picket this afternoon to bring attention to the company’s demands which are feared could set a precedent in the region.
