Not everyone can get hurt while at work on sedentary duty |

Last Tuesday I was sitting in a chair at lunch. The 16 year old chair had a design flaw or a defect. Whatever. I was the 6th person in the last 8 months to have the seat drop out from underneath me. 2 were managers. After my incident and the NEW injury to my already bad shoulder, they removed all the chairs from the lunchroom.
My surgery is on the 25th.

I'm in physical therapy for a rotator cuff issue, will go to the surgeon for an eval on the 25th. Will be thinking of you and wishing you well. I'm retired so can't blame an OTJ injury for my RC tear or whatever it is. Must add I'm extremely grateful I'm covered by Medicare and have a good supplemental. Not to mention grateful to the union that helped negotiate the contract that assured the good supplemental! Realize both could go south at any given moment if repubs have their way, but will work hard to keep them from carrying out their evil plan.
Peace.
