Today in Labor History Feb 3 SCOTUS outlawed many forms of child labor and set the 40-hour work week

The US Supreme Court rules the United Hatters Union violated the Sherman Antitrust Act by organizing a nationwide boycott of Danbury Hatters of Connecticut - 1908

February 3, 1941 - The U.S. Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the Wages and Hours Act (later known as the Fair Labor Standards Act). It outlawed many forms of child labor and set the 40-hour work week.
