RALEIGH, N.C. Labor union members are planning to rally outside the Mexican consulate in Raleigh over what it says is unfair treatment of workers in that country.

Members of the Farm Labor Organizing Committee and the North Carolina Public Service Workers Union are joining protesters at Mexican consulates and embassies around the world.

The protest scheduled for Friday marks the fifth anniversary of a mine explosion that killed 65 workers in Mexico.

The activists are also upset that the 2007 murder of an organizer from the farm workers' union has not been solved.
