My father watched a class on PBS about Judaism taught by a Rabbi. He was amazed how significant to our life today the ethical beliefs are. But with any religion or for that matter ideology it can be used as a tool of hate as easily as a tool of love. Our right wing picks and chooses looking for verses to use for hate.
