There'll be no city strike.
City lawyers won a court order early this afternoon that prevents a strike of water and sewer workers even before it begins.
The Plumbers and Pipefitters Union Local 367 this morning announced union members would walk off their jobs at Anchorage Water and Wastewater at 10 a.m. Friday in a contract dispute.
But the city won an injunction to avert the strike because, the city argued, it could harm the health of AWWU customers.
