| Does it seem to you that cruises are more expensive than non-cruise foreign country trips? |
|
It seems so to me, though I can't give you a link or statistical evidence. But just looking at tour packages, it seems they are more expensive. And they seem to be proliterating!
I'm not talking about a Caribbean cruise or something like that. I mean, like a cruise of some European countries.
Your thoughts?

| 1. They must be making tons of money on these cruises because I get all these catalogs |

really pushing them. Maybe it's just cheaper to haul everyone around in one ship...
My objection to the cruise thing is that in Europe I want to experience the city I'm in and go to the local restaurants at night. I don't want to go back and eat with the same people every night. I want to sample the region/town/city's atmosphere, people and different foods. And it's lots of fun researching the restaurants online. Or just walking around looking for a place to eat.
