I've been there twice...I have Croatian ancestry on my mother's side of the family and, since I am eligible for "right of return" dual citizenship, I am now learning Croatian, since it's a requirement.
It is a beautiful country, especially the Dalmatian Coast, but the language is very difficult (seven cases! -- I did not know until I started to learn it that English has NO cases!)

but I have not been there. It seems absolutely beautiful with everything you could ask for.
The language is definitely tough. I figure I'm going to work on my French since that seems to be the global language and a damned sight easier than Croatian!
How are you studying Croatian?
