My wife and I will be celebrating a significant anniversary later this year. I have tickets booked to Seattle and plan to head to BC for a few days - probably Victoria.

Anyone familiar with a unique B&B for an anniversary in Victoria - or Vancouver?

I have been to both only once - and just stayed in regular motels. I would like to find someplace a bit special.

Also - what about unique restaurants for an anniversary dinner? Nothing fance - more casual - but definitely has to be memorable.

1. My family and I stayed in Victoria in 1998

We went fancy and stayed at the Empress.

Not cheap, but lots of fun, and "High Tea" is not to be missed.
It's overpriced and overly fancy, but lots of fun, and is something
to be done at least once. As for restaurants, we found nothing memorable,
although that doesn't mean there isn't anything, especially now that
eight years have gone by.
