| Another bit from El Salvador -- if only I could find it. |
|
My friend Rolando just told me that the commander of the troops from El Salvador in Iraq published an open letter last week in La Prensa Grafica where he talks about inconvenient things like torture.
I can't load La Prensa's web site on this old machine (grrrrrrrrrr --- have to set the new one up today). But, you'd think that such a statement from the only "coalition" ally we have from Latin America would wind up in the American press? I find nada.
I don't know if our supine media didn't report it and / or if it's been filtered out of google and yahoo! :tinfoilhat:

| 1. couldn't find anything either |

la prensa grafica, a couple other sources, nothing about a letter nor relevant notices about the salvador army en irak. a search in la prensa grafica for "tortura irak" produces 2006 as the most recent hit.

I first noticed it during the bombing of Lebanon. Stories I found and posted on Friday night were whoosh gone by Sunday morning.
I will track this down but am having to beg help from busy people.
