| I wrote a short piece about the smearing of Chavez |

and posted it to the Latin America forum. If any of you might be willing to digg it at OpEdNews, it would be much appreciated. It's not Shakespeare but it's something anyway. lol http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=405x1006

| 2. we're having a lot of fun with "el rey" |
|
the king tells chavez, 'porque no te callas?', which is kinda like "shut up" but more like "why don't you just bring it down a notch or two". if the king wanted to say 'shut up' he mighta done it mexican style, 'callate el osico cabron' or maybe mejor, "callate el osico puto".
at any rate, we were doing a tertullia saturday (a 'mental menudo') and anytime someone started talking over another we'd say "rey," invariably setting off laughter and garnering a mote of respect for the person holding the floor at the moment.
chavez has now introduced a new code-word into our lexicon. gracias, hugo, y porque no te callas, pendejo?
