SPA and makeup artists in the world. I just saw her on a Geico commercial and she doesn't look any different than she did when she was nineteen. That was the first time I ever saw her on the Merv Griffin show when she was married to Xavier Cugat.

Also, I've got to say, in spite of all her silliness, I always loved Charro and she really is a magnificent guitar player, something that no one seems to really focus on about her.

There was a nation convention of Hispanic veterans in town, so my father took me to a concert in which Charro played and sang and was her silly self. She was delightful.

played it in a long time. I think I'll look for it and play it. Also, I've heard her speak when she is not being silly--she makes pretty good sense and seems to have her heart in the right place.
