Hello my fellow cancer friends!

As you remember my father, the story I have written here in this forum. Today is October 28th, and he got back from a very long 3 week vacation out of the country.

He is in great spirits, and has been cancer free confirmed as of October 1st after the SCT went through. He will go through the PET scan in 2 months (December).

Just wanted to let you know that he has made some significant contributions to his fellow cancer patients and made sure they were okay.

Sorry for the McCain-ish title, but my dad has NOT yet decided who he wants to vote for, and he's a strange bird sometimes.

(Politics: He's a Joe Lieberman Democrat - very conservative - but not to a point where he'd be a Republican - or his father, may his memory be for a blessing, would have to kick his butt)

Fortunately he knows to support our Congresswoman, Diana DeGette who is a BIG BIG champion of stem cell research, some of which has saved my father's life.

Anyway, so keep things positive - I have contributed in memory of my aunt to ovarian cancer research, and my wife did the Race for the Cure for Susan Komen (ugh) Breast Cancer stuff.
