Colonoscopy shows new cancer (but confined and removed) |
|
Just did a colonoscopy, my first since surgery last May. Last May's surgery and chemo/rad wiped out the very large tumor I had, but now I had a large polyp (3-4 cm) that was cancerous, but apparently the stem of it was not, so removing the polyp was all that was needed. Apparently, though, my colon insists on growing cancer. We may do this every year. Beats letting it run on, though, and having major surgery. I was kinda hoping the one from last year was the end of it, but apparently no such luck.

1. Glad they found it and removed it. |

Hope that's the last time.
