Need info on alternative therapies for Hodgkins lymphoma.

A long-time friend has been diagnosed. With our terrible healthcare system it took months for the diagnosis, he's now stage 2 or 3 and still being told there's a waiting list of several more weeks before he can get more tests and ultimately treatment at a Native American hospital.

Meanwhile he wants to try anything reasonable in the way of dietary changes, vitamins, etc. that could possibly be helpful.

He's very wary of going through chemo and radiation, having watched such treatments kill his wife, who had breast cancer.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My friend has now been diagnosed with stage 3B, maybe even 4B. Just talked to him tonight and he's totally depressed. Is there any hope?
