My friend was recently diagnosed with Leukemia. She is going through some really rough chemo. I'd like to give her something to comfort her. What made the difference for you when you were being treated?

1. Mainly, help around the house. |

I had friends/family around with each treatment, and when it got rough I was in bed for 2-3 days. Just having people around to do light cleaning, cooking, whatever was such a relief. My appetite was freaky, so my peeps to care of anything I needed. It doesn't last forever, I kept telling myself.
