Out of the hospital.

Feeling good, moving around, not much pain. Salpingo-oophorectomy hurts more than the mastectomy. No ovarian cancer, by the way. My better half is taking good care of me - cooking, cleaning, washing and drainage tubes. Wow.

5. How are you feeling now?

I know the first few days after surgery seem to be the worst and wanted to see how you're faring after a week.

I am so glad to hear NO ovarian Cancer! What a relief.

6. A little discomfort.

I'm moving around and have been out of the house to see the surgeon and for a little Christmas shopping. Had my hair cut yesterday. I'm really more comfortable walking than sitting and can't stand to lay in bed. Getting comfortable to sleep is the biggest problem. The biggest hurdle so far has been viewing my chest. It isn't as bad as I expected.

Just waiting to hear from the oncologist for an appointment to discuss treatment.

7. Welcome Home

I was thinking about you last night when we were lighting candles. I have been pretty sick and not on the computer. You have great news and I am so happy for you.
