I am an operator for one of the large TTY relay networks in the US, and just wanted to say hello to all the deaf/HoH DU'ers out there whose relay calls I may, at one time or another, have had the pleasure of handling.
When I was younger, a dear friend of mine gave me a civics lesson in the form of expounding the benefits of the Americans with Disabilities Act, and I took it to heart; as a result, this job, while obviously not something I expect to do for the rest of my life, is very rewarding to me, and something I take very seriously. There are a lot of aspects to the job I can't/shouldn't talk about, obviously including call content, but if anyone has comments or suggestions on how this agent can improve relay services, I'd be happy to read them!

You know what I mean :P
Yaeh, in my earlier years, Colorado Relay was among the first pioneers to set something like this up, and I've personally known the operators, and respected them. (My mom was the Executive Director for a deaf agency years ago)
