Does anybody else here resent posters

who just throw in links to movie clips, tv clips, sound bites, etc with no transcript for those of us who can't hear them? I'm really beginning to.

1. I don't resent them

Many clips have no transcript, nor would I expect any DU poster to take the time to create one. I don't take it personally. Internet links to clips, sound bytes, etc., are just what they are.

Every now and then there's a video news clip or speech that I really want to understand more clearly, and I do my own search to try and come up with the transcript and/or article.

2. No, I turn up the sound loud and if can't hear them, either don't need to

or can find the info elsewhere.

3. It's disappointing sometimes

but the transcripts usually turn up somewhere.
