1. Andy would never get Ali G....even if he did, he'd never allow himself to be a dupe for him.

Looks like Andy had him figured out before it even started.

I watched Bruno the other night...I really don't know how much of his schtick is real or set-up, but he was lucky he didn't get himself killed in a few of those scenes. Coming on to the Hezbollah dude was dangerous as hell. The Ron Paul and caged fight scene were pretty hilarious, though.

2. I tend to share Andy's reaction...and I'm only 35

I've never understood the appeal of Cohen and his annoying characters and prank interviews, and I completely understand why he didn't want to waste his time on this unfunny stupidity.

3. I've been looking for the clip of his Kurt Cobain comments--no luck yet.

He said Cobain had nothing to complain about since he wasn't living through the Great Depression, World War II, or even Vietnam.

If he knew Cobain's story he might have been more sympathetic: Cobain was trying to get off heroin, and as he sobered up, he realized with horror he had married Courtney Love.
