The recently released International Atomic Energy Agency’s report on Iran claims than “Iran has carried out activities relevant to the development of a nuclear device.” The report has “rekindled a debate among the Western allies and Israel about whether increased diplomatic pressure, sanctions, sabotage or military action could stop Iran’s program.” (NYT 11/8/11)

Here we go again – does this remind you of Colin Powell’s performance at the UN where he held up a test tube and assured us that Iraq was working on germ warfare?

Just what we need - another disastrous, senseless, destructive, costly, nightmare of a major war!

Get outraged! Oppose this rush to war!

1. What kind of insanity is this??? Another major war??????????
Weren't Iraq and Afghanistan enough of a disaster? We're driving full speed down the road to a ruined economy - no way we can continue to spend billions on more war!!!!

3. This is corruption
Some wealthy lobbyists want war with Iran. Our government is bought and sold. So they may get their war some time in the future.

Politicians that don't play the game, don't last long. So that leaves us with morally retarded leaders that may be willing to start unprovoked wars for their own personal gain.

4. and the folks that pay the price are our soldiers and Iran citizens
Meanwhile the fat cats sit is the crystal offices and drool over what money they can make.
It is beyond me how they can sleep at night with the misery they create.

8. Why the fuck Not? Join the crowd - Afghanistan, Iraq, Viet Nam, Korea, etc.
Wave the flag and scream about commies (or "terrists") and they can start bombing at any point.

9. Its all in the marketing
If they can do a good job like they did with Libya, liberals and conservatives will rally behind it. Just wait till the news of unarmed protesters, Iranian jews, homosexuals and incubator babies being killed by the evil Mullahs and then come back and tell me you are still anti war.

The approach they are using right now will fail, americans will be better persuaded with a humanitarian disaster story.

14. Thanks for the link, azul.
With this level of subterfuge what chance do we have of preventing a war with Iran?

Tax dollars are misdirected toward propaganda efforts against the best interests of the American people and the people of the world. No one is held to account for this obvious treason. I cry for my nation, the nation that used to be.
