I've always been a big fan of the Weavers. This is the first time I've actually heard The Almanac Singers. When I get some positive cash flow, I intend to purchase the available CD's.

The imagery was pretty damn good. (They were Communists, you know.)

Actually, they were then, just as now, folks demanding justice and integrity from TPTB.
