WE paid for their outfits, pepper spray, tasers, batons, vehicles, armor, guns, and salaries. The profits go into the wineglasses of the 1% and the coffers of the next election cycle. It's sickening.

7. Something that has struck me over and over during the last couple of years

and now here repeatedly with police action against OWS protestors: WHY do police put people face down on the ground to put on 'handcuffs'? I think it is a way to demean and hurt people. imho
