3. Romney will force 0 to the left, at least in rhetoric. |

Once chosen, the entire discourse will move left. Romney will move to the center, forcing 0 back where he pretends to be before elections, a liberal (haha)
Though I lived through Romney's governorship and voted against him, he was a better governor and was farther left than 0 is as a president.
He left this state with one of the best healthcare systems in the U.S. and I say this as a senior citizen who's life is made easier by that system.
Of course before Romney, we had a true liberal in Dukakis, who would have made a great president and still someday just might.

4. It's easier to be governor of Massachusetts than POTUS. |
|
If Romney had had a dysfunctional Legislature , it would have been much more difficult to govern. If Obama had a Congress as truly Democratic as Massachusett's legislature, who knows waht would have happened?

0's presidency and it was squandered, along with the huge capital we gave him during his election, while we witnessed the great "bi partisan" debacle that was as transparent as a fake diamond.
History changing events could and should have taken place.
Single payer...end of B tax cuts...financing the debt etc, etd, etc,....He could have led the call for the changing of the house and senate rules to marginalize the filibuster...and other ridiculous rules favoring pugs and the list goes on while he was busy appointing banksters to guard the henhouse and right wing pugs to cabinet and rw DLC'ers to lead important social program committees and asking religious right homophobe Warren to give the invocation; openly recruiting rethugs to run on the D ticket.
Yeah...it was a honeymoon alright, but it wasn't the Dems he was in bed with.
I guess that is what we should have expected, as it was the drug and banking cartels that gave him the big diamond ring in the first place.
