working for TyT?

6. Yes.

I started listening to the TYT podcast back in 2007 after my friend Hank recommended it to me and I was instantly hooked. Originally I signed up for a year of Air America so I could listen to TYT, Hartmann and some Maddow. But as you now AA went away, at which point I started paying for separate memberships for TYT and Thom Hartmann.

At any rate, eventually I interned before being officially hired in late 2009. It was the first time in my life that I really cared about and loved my job. And of course the people I work with are great. News, politics and social commentary with no corporate overlords dictating the content, and of course a non-stuffy, loose atmosphere...

I'm grateful, it's a rare opportunity to work on something you love and are passionate about. Obviously the Current news is also exciting, and there again it's incredible to not have any editorial constraints from up top. I wouldn't have it any other way, and neither would Cenk.

7. What are these outrageous expectations kids have today?

That after getting good grades, studying, taking out loans and going to college they might one day get a job?

Is that an outrageous expectation? That those trained and willing to work can find work?

Maybe we shouldn't have been so eager to outsource every job imaginable leaving only low pay no benefit service jobs?
