4. Am I angry that Kucinich has been marginalized, ignored and shut out by the M$M, |
|
along with the perspective and objectivity he brought to the debates – which seemed to match my world view more than any other candidate, along with what I perceived (not to long ago) as agreement with most of those here at DU and a large portion of the blog-a-sphere. Am I angry that any Democratic candidates would go along with the M$M that treats our electoral process as some kind of sporting event, tabloid spectacular or TV reality show. Sure I’m angry, but I’m also afraid that the M$M can - will - and does do this. And I see this as being something more than what’s good for their ratings, I see it as steeling the elections before the poles open.
So if you think for a moment that I’m angry because the person I think should be president is being treated unfairly by the M$M your right, but I’m also afraid, not because he is or is not electable, but because it’s the M$M making that decision and not the electorate. This is not the way Democracy works, but it’s a good way to bring it an end…

Those were the guys who were gonna have a debate on Fox that most of the 'major' dem candidates pissed on? And the one Dennis said he'd go on (for which he took tons of flack for them)? That CBC???
What do you expect, they're congressional Democrats.

10. No it isn't fuck the system, it's the system's fucked |
|
and we need Dennis in there to try and fix it. I know I will be giving my vote to him unless DK himself drops out and recommends my vote go elsewhere. The best way to give the MSM the message is to vote for DK, but beyond that the only other thing they understand is $$$$$$ and I don't think we'd stop very many people from watching their network garbage to make a difference to them. That means it isn't just the system that's fucked.
