|
Edited on Wed Feb-20-08 10:09 PM by jackson_dem
And that bill created a website and was Coburn's bill. Obama has had 2 bills he sponsored became law: 1) to name a post office 2) about the Congo.

to learn about his accomplishments weather you like him or not if you want a dem in the WH. That's the way it is.

13. He will be the least accomplished person elected president if he wins |
|
The argument for him if he is the nominee will be about his platform (basically the same as Hillary's) and the pathetic rethug record of the past 7 years and how McCain would mean more of the same.

20. How can he be the least acomplished elected president? |
|
When there was George W. Bush, Ronald Reagan, Franklin Pierce. Even Abraham Lincoln didn't have many acomplishments before he became president he didn't even go to college. What was John F. Kennedy's major acomplishments before he became president. Obama lack of Senate acomplishments is do to the lack of acomplishments by Congress as a whole. The last thing congress acomplished was getting duped by Bush into passing the IWR.

|
Thats Obamas problem, he wont define himself as anything other than not being Hillary, the anti-Hillary. All he talks about is Hillary, thus his supporters havent a clue.

27. It doesn't need to yet |
|
It isn't as if Clinton has been coming strong with specifics.
What is Clinton's big policy platform? It is "I'm ready on day one" or is it "You need more than words"?
Kucinich and Edwards were the only ones who talked specifics, and the voters didn't go for that.

It's a matter of choosing the one who sucks less, or the lesser of two evils.
To me, that would be Obama.

14. saw that--sort it was weird in a number of ways |
|
1> that the guy couldn't think of the ethics stuff.
2> that he simply didn't respond with, "That isn;t why I am voting for him, he won;t legislate from the executive branch, I am instead voting for leadership, vision, as well as the best chance to take back the white house.
3> that he didn't turn the tables, on Matthews and ask what did Hillary accomplish in the legislature.
4> That Matthews felt compelled to ask it at all, as it was not what the conversation was about.
One would imagine, if asked, Obama could have defended himself.

Who the FUCK invited this guy to speak on National television on Obama's behalf??
...like it's Obama's fault that CNN recruits someone who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground to act as a "surrogate" for him in a political discussion.
AND here these TROLLS are, (FELLOW DEMOCRATS MY ASS), replying: "Yeah, this proves it. Our likely NOMINEE hasn't done shit and isn't fit to be president."
To all of you who even TOLERATE this MSM doctored bullshit, far less AGREE WITH IT, I have only one thing to say:
"You can eat the corn out of my shit."
And no, I am not under the age of 30.

24. Obama's ONLY accomplishment is getting the "Ethics Reform Bill" passed.. |
|
deliberately leaving loop holes in the Bill easily circumventing the Bill's mission. Essentially, Obama created a Bill lacking any teeth for enforcement..Obama, lame ducking his own Bill!
Just what we need, another president fond of "LAME DUCKS"!

21. "sir you have to give me his accomplishments" |
|
what a JERK! this is the kind of SLICK tactic one does to humiliate someone. this doesn't reflect on Obama poorly, and not really that guy, I found it extremely ODD for Matthews to say what he said about have to give his accomplishments, you're on national TV :wtf:
that's bizarre. if he did it to a Hillary supporter who had a brain fart, I'd have been typing this same message.
Do we remember the old guy approaching that young black man outside the LA debates and grilling him about Obama, and the young man NAILING the guy with facts about Obama??? Do we??? Because I do, gotcha politics is very pathetic.
I despise Matthews more and more every day, no wonder I don't watch his show anymore. Thanks for the vid nonetheless, so I know he's still being an ass to guests.

Matthews said he knew the guy wasnt a details guy so thats why he asked him that question. So he admitted that he did that just to make an ass out of him. What a jerk.
After that when Keith defended the guy Matthews said "thats why its called Hardball" Keith was like its not Hardball its a election coverage show.
Well Matthews had someone on last night who rattled off a bunch of Obama's accomplishments. Maybe someone can now post that clip.
