Ok folks I got a few questions |
|
yes that time of life comes... and I am feeling like a teenager again... oh shinie....
Now I know I COULD ask for Ritalin. Hell, it works... been readying online for other things... Tyrosine pops up, as well as ginko biloba (not doable I take aspiring) and St. John's Worth, as well as fish oil. I am taking the fish oil, won't interfere with drugs I am currently taking, and MIGHT have a good effect for the Cardiac Artery disease, but anybody has any experience with these things for ADD?
Oh shiny....
I really do not want to go through the teens all over again.
Oh incidentally Guayaki Tea seems to do a good one, as well as exercise...
And yes one day a year, I can handle, a day a month... not so much.

1. Well started taking the Fish oil |
|
and took St John's this morning...oh about 10:30 when I got home
And the way I am focused right now reminds me of... Ritalin... and I doubt this is just my mind playing games. Yes, the static is still there, but at least I can focus...
Oh and I went ahead and bought Delivered from Distraction... I read YEARS ago driven to distraction, and I love Hallowell and Ratey. As usual it is done in the ADD style we all love to use.
He also recommends the fish oil. In fact, leading research might point to... a recommended supplement to ADDers. As I said, I think it is helping... and that is GOOD...

2. Heh, Never heard of the fish oil thing before, I'll have to try it! |
|
I can't take St. John's Wort because it works like an SSRI and I already take Paxil.
My my attention issues I take Concerta (timed-release Ritalin).

3. If you can listen to Delivered from Distraction |
|
or just plain out read it. Apparently it is the ever so popular Omega 3s which are especially low in AAders.
