At this point if we WEREN'T going to, the President would have moved on to something else and would have been waving the jobs bill around like a victory banner.
For him to CONTINUE to push ... now in an even GRANDER fashion ... for a HCR bill IF it was doomed to failure would assume that he's an idiot politically.
Clearly, he's not.
We are closer than we have ever been.

... if we (the American People) can pass a civil rights bill, a voting bill, end segregation and KILL Jim Crow ...... we can pass a health care bill.
That is NOTHING compared to the struggle that came before. The GOP has been filibustering the President's plan for not even a year .... the Dixie-crats filibustered desegregation for DECADES.
