The Nihilists Have Begun ... |
|
We don't even have the vote done yet, and we've started seeing a stream of cries across the blogosphere that this is not a victory for Democrats or the people; it's just Obama saving his political hide since he never meant anything he said; the only change this signifies is that of the Democratic party becoming the corporate party; Obama caved to Stupak and threw women under the bus ...
Yadda, yadda, yadda ... I've seen all of these things posted around various blogs in the last hour.
These are supposed to be people I listen to ... why, again?
Feh.

4. I just read on another site |
|
that Obama doesn't have principles bc of the way stupak was handled which changes nothing.
Absolutely no credibility bc that poster is known for continuous disingenuous slams on the President..
How would it be to relentlessy rage against someone with only disingenuousness? With bush we had the facts.

I hadn't anticipated that one.
Ya know, Republicans are awesome. Not only have they managed to get their entire congressional delegation to come on board with this; not only have they managed to keep it a secret among hundreds and thousands of legislators, commentators, spokespeople, economists, and top executives in at least three distinct industries; not only have they so thoroughly manipulated public opinion, Democrats, and President Obama himself, they've also managed to create this so-called grassroots tea party movement to give the strategy a pseudo-populist face.
They. Are. Gods.
