Is anyone else reading Jonathan Alter's new book "The Promise"

I just started it and I had forgotten how awful McCain was. I forgot how he didn't even read Paulson's 3 page plan. In the book, it's shocking how completely inept Bush and McCain are. Apparently they were so bad that they scared Obama!

3. I've read some excerpts in Newsweek.

I plan to purchase the book this weekend.

4. I read about 1/3 of one of the Bush books

I can't remember right now if it was Woodward's or Clarke's. Anyways, I had to sit the book down every 3 pages for a rant break. The stupid was just that horrifying. I finally gave up on it because I was afraid I was going to have a stroke.

Poor Obama. I can't even imagine what it feels like to be in his shoes.
