Santa (Bush) goes to Africa. |

Benin----------------$307Million Zimbabwe--------$700Million Ghana---------------$??? Tanzania-----------$698Million Liberia---------------$30Billion Rwanda-------------$80Million new US Embassy & $167Million in '07...no new numbers listed for this visit
and yet , here in the US, poor people can expect to see their necessary programs being cut.
I feel great empathy for the suffering of African people, but I also resent....tremendously........, the photo-op, Sugar-Daddy , faux-largess of this bumbler-in-chief, as he hands out our tax dollars to African countries, in a last ditch effort to purchase some sort of legacy for himself, and perhaps a little goodwill for his wretched party.

1. That will certainly win Bush a lot of ass kissing and butt sucking |
|
...from those African leaders who reap the wind-fall. As far as the people living in those nations, what trickles down will be like urine running down their leg on a crowded bus.

7. well i actually heard that white people are not being harmed in this current mess |
|
it's various tribes taking machetes to each other, hardly something that's going to impact a presidential motorcade -- may or may not be true, and i know the british gov't is telling tourists to get out and stay out, but i think we'd know if any visitors had been harmed
but i'm not surprised he's hiding in his hidey hole, what african nation is it that he visited in 2003 and made them cut down 100 year old trees because he was so scared of snipers? not exactly a prince among men, if you ask me
