So tell me. What other creatures wear shoes. This is the second time I heard that today, and I'm puzzled because I can't imagine what other critter did they expect to inhabit that shoe?
:wtf:
Okay, it's still stoopid, but this might explain it:
Foot in shoe washes up on U.S. west coast

PORT ANGELES, Wash., Aug. 5 (UPI) -- For the sixth time in a year but a first for Washington state, a foot in a running shoe was found on the Pacific Coast, police said.
The discovery was made last weekend in northwestern Clallam County, 35 miles west of Port Angeles, Wash., Canada's Globe and Mail newspaper reported. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police in British Columbia were going to be part of the investigation, as five human feet have washed ashore in the southern part of the province.
Clallam County Undersheriff Ronald Peregrin said an unidentified female camper spotted the shoe on the beach Friday but didn't investigate. He said she kept thinking about the Canadian cases and then she and another camper discovered human bones in a sock in the shoe.
Peregrin said it was it was a man's size 11 black, low-top, right running shoe, although the brand hadn't been identified. He told reporters Monday that forensic investigators had yet to confirm the remains were human.
Earlier this year, remains found in a shoe in British Columbia were determined to be from an animal and part of a hoax.http://www.upi.com/Top_News/2008/08/05/Foot_in_shoe_washes_up_on_US_west_coast/UPI-46921217936991/
