1. Wife and I decided we have a house full of stuff we don't need anymore |
|
so we're making contributions to animal shelters and family cemeteries instead. We might break down and get something for the grandkids and especially for the great grandkid but everyone else will have to do without from us. And we've told everybody please make a contribution in our name instead of a gift to us.

3. I'm Not Buying Any Gifts This Year |
|
With all the poor, hungry, and homeless people in the country, I am NOT buying any gifts this year.
I am going to give money to the poor.
It's really the only thing to do this year.

Many years ago I was on the beginning of what would become a national singing tour and we sang at Charter Oak Evangelical Free Church, it was June of 1973

8. You probably wouldn't recognize it now. |
|
Hell, we moved here in '93 and barely recognize it. We live in the hills east of town.

Its an iphone and we are picking up the cost on a family plan. She is in college and can't afford a reliable phone and service. Its a present that works for everyone. :)

7. Our extended family draws names. Everybody buys ONE gift in the $20.00 range. |
|
And we all have wish lists on Amazon, so shopping is fast and easy for all of us at Christmas. One click; all done.
