13% of American Voters are Teahadists... |
|
Only 13 percent of American voters say they are part of the Tea Party movement, a group that has more women than men; is mainly white and Republican and voted for John McCain, and strongly supports Sarah Palin More: http://www.quinnipiac.edu/x1295.xml?ReleaseID=1436

4. Teabaggers are republicans. If they do primary someone, and he loses to the incumbent republican, |
|
there is no way that they will not vote for the republican.

6. I can't believe that they would hurt their party by running independents. They are the strongest |

part of the base of their party.

"The Tea Party movement is mostly made up of people who consider themselves Republicans," said Peter A. Brown, assistant director of the Quinnipiac University Polling Institute. "They are less educated but more interested in politics than the average Joe and Jane Six-Pack and are not in a traditional sense swing voters."
"The Tea Party could be a Republican dream - or a GOP nightmare. Members could be a boon to the GOP if they are energized to support Republican candidates. But if the Tea Party were to run its own candidates for office, any votes its candidate received would to a very great extent be coming from the GOP column," Brown added.

3. Again the Media is making more of this than there is |
|
Think about it, more people believe in UFO's than are teabaggies. More people believe Elvis is alive than teabaggies. More people believe in BIG FOOT than teabaggies.
The way I see it, teabaggy candidate will pull votes from GOP candidates...DEMOCRATIC PARTY WINS!

11. I have to agree, when you bring in the UFO argument..but then again...UFO's |
|
have never had a candidate..
As far as I know
I think 50% of the Teabagger Party folks won't get the right to drive the car to the polls from their hubby the day of the election.

7. Why do people believe this crap...Imagine |
|
There are 201 people of voter age. 72 percent are registered and 55 registered republican. Do you or any body in their wildest dreams believe that 13% or 26 and 1/2 million are tea bags. More like 100,000 if that. The media and the way out pollsters like this one from a MA college are just trying to give themselves a name.
Tell me do you, really believe 26 million people are tea bags. Hell only about 500 at the most show up for rallies.

If tea bags are republican and 55 million are republicans that 13% would take 26 million away from republicans anyway. If democrats voted and never voted for a republican there is no way in hell we would ever have another republican in office.

16. Be careful. They can jump to the big ship in an election. |

If you doubt me, remember that Ron Paul had no problem at all running as a Republican when he thought that was his best chance to get elected.

Edited on Sun Apr-04-10 10:59 PM by DearAbby
Now that I am not sure, but with them kicking the Moderates to the curb...I seriously doubt people like Bob Dole, or Frum are going to be voting Teahadists. The Party has swung so far right they are left in the wake.
