DAMN PEOPLE - I don't remember Obama saying....... |
|
"YES WE CAN - As long as the GOP are not going to be difficult"
We knew the GOP would be asses but we assumed Obama knew that when he made the promises!
The guy set the expectation bar really high and now blaming our asses for not being happy. He has NOT changed Washington at all!
Obama, don't run on the "I will kick ass" theme and then cave constantly!

2. After eight years of the shrub, anyone who didn't sound like a fucking idiot was attractive. |

I still support President Obama, but that doesn't mean I have to agree with all of his decisions. This cave in to the GOP is just wrong and I've told Senators Casey and Specter exactly that.

4. I heard a fighter repeating "Yes we can" over and over. |
|
I didn't think Obama would be able to do everything he wanted to do...but I did expect him to try. I expected him to fight for the things that needed to get accomplished and to use his excellent communication skills to rally support. Instead, I feel that he's worried too much and spent too much time compromising with republicans and he's used his communication abilities to ridicule and insult "liberals/left-wingers".

6. Yeah, it's the pretense that got him |
|
If he had just run as a Wall Street lackey, he wouldn't have won, but neither would he have an enraged base looking to primary him right now.

If he had run on:
*Mandates with NO Public Option plus Cadillac Taxes
*The Permanent Occupation of Iraq with over 50,000 American troops plus 100,000 "contractors"
*Permanent Tax Cuts for The Rich
*Trickle Down Stimulus
*MORE "Free Trade"
*Expanding and Re-Enforcing the Patriot Act and the Unitary Executive
*Ridiculing The Left and Organized LABOR
*Austerity for the Working Class
*De-Funding Medicare and Social Security so the RICH could have MORE MONEY
. . . He would have NEVER gotten himself elected!
