Had all my upper teeth removed today. Chronic infections. I encourage all HIV+'s to get regular

dental appointments. Gum disease was my first problem with HIV and one I overlooked along the road. I wish I had taken care of this long ago. Probably could have avoided this procedure. None of us need an overlapping chronic infection process.

But all went well and I'm glad to have it done.

1. Thanks for the reminder. My doctor always looks at my teeth too when I go in for my visits.

She also asks when I went to the dentist last. The meds are hard on your teeth and gums she told me.

3. I hate tooth infections

my four front lower teeth got infected and I had to go and get them yanked. It felt so good, i had tears on my face...of course the partial really sucks.
