The Diarrhea is killing me

I go about 20-30 times a day and it really sucks. I can't ride the bus to got anywhere, the constant wiping has irritated my backside so much I am in misery. I don't know what to do. I am screwed I guess. I have tried every test and medicine to get rid of the runs, but nothing works. I have had this problem about 10 years but it's really gotten bad in this last few months. Life sucks....I can't even do anything because I always have to go poop. I hate it. I want to die.

1. What does your doctor say?

I only as is because this is a problem I don't have. Could it be from any of the meds your on?

2. He makes me save some samples

they always come back negative. Then he gives me this recipe to drink so I don't dehydrate. I don't bother. I have had this problem for ten years and on other meds, so I don't know.

3. I asked because the cocktail my partner was on caused the same problem.

One of his meds were changed and it went away. :shrug:

5. It's a drag. I had a run of about 3 years, back when I was on Kaletra,

got to know every public bathroom in the County, planned my trips around them...

My new cocktail (I'm on Atripla) has little effect.

As mentioned, encourage you to keep following up with your HIV doc. If it's the meds, maybe there's another option available for you. If it isn't, keep asking about other possibilities/options.

Hang in there. Oh, and yeah, keep up those fluids like the med pros say. :thumbsup:

6. Kaletra was my partners problem also.

I also take Atripla, it's great! One pill once a day!
