3. So what are everybody's goals and or special interests here?

Me--I'm just another unhappy pig in consumerland, wishing I didn't have to research every single piece of junk I buy, but knowing the consequences are worse if you don't participate in it to some extent.

ie. I don't make this a hobby--I do it in self-defense, and in defense of others (such as those I am aware of who have been wound up in credit card scams, predatory lending, victims of white collar fraud, etc).

I see consumer--business relationships in this country as highly political. I'm interested in the social and psychological effects as well.
