I'm impressed with Lowe's

We recently bought and installed a new vanity light fixture in the bathroom. Last night a bulb burned out and my husband took the globe off to remove the bulb. Well, he dropped the globe and broke it. So I've got a three light vanity light with 1 globe missing.

My husband took the globe into Lowe's today and they didn't have any single globes for sale to match it. One of the managers opened a box with the vanity light I have and took out two globes and gave them to my husband.

No charge. No hassle, just "here's two replacements, an extra in case you break another globe."

I'm impressed.

Lowe's is my home grown DIY store. While I always comparison shop, I always seem to wind up at Lowes. And as a single woman, they don't make me feel stupid when I go in there and ask questions.
