I've been trying to buy bake ware and cookware made in the USA. Wow, I've been out of touch with domestic housewares for way too long. Everything is made in China!
With all the news about lead in toys etc. I've been wondering if anyone knows if these pots and pans are safe? Any additives to the metal used or the teflon coatings? Bake ware and cookware are often exposed to high temperatures what may be transfered to the food?
I asked a sales person about this at either Linens 'N Things or Bed Bath and Beyond and she said, another woman was concerned and had the sales person call the company. Which of course they said, 'not to worry, they're safe.' Ok, I believe you. :eyes:
