I found a great deal on a semi-rare book for sale on amazon.com. When I went to check out it offered me $30 off if I'd apply for one of their Amazon VISA cards. Being the book was over $30 in cost, I decided to go for it.

I fill out this application etc. and I don't get the $30.00 off when I checked out I noticed. I get nothing is what I got, not even an email informing me as to the status of the application itself.

I've tried contacting them to tell them to simply forget this and they insist upon sending me a card it seems whether I want it or not. They could tell I wasn't real happy about being deceived and told me I was being "recorded". I told them fine, let "them" listen to this over and over and over again! I don't want their card nor the $30 and I will never do business with them again.

Any other experiences with amazon.com buying/selling books?
