| Any numismatists here? Can you debunk this or is it true? |
|
Years ago I remember being told that the mint printed a particular $2.00 bill with all sorts of numbers on it that seemed to align with the life of John Kennedy. This was supposed to be an accidental quirk and would someday be of value over the $2.00 face.
I had one and tucked it in a covered container is a closet that I never use. Found it today. I tried to do a quick Google and could find nothing about a collectible $2.00 bill with any numbers correlating to Kennedy.
Was this a silly rumor at the time? Should I just send this to my granddaughter with her birthday present?

| 2. I went back to the pot and guess what, there were 3 bills in there. |

The Kennedy bill was a $1.00 and your link has the info...guess it has no value. The other was a $2.00(Why I saved it, I don't know) plus the third was a silver certificate.
I bet if I open anything in this house that has a lid, cover, drawer, door or whatever, there is something stuffed inside. Should make notes about why I save some of this stuff.
Thanks for your help.
Still looking for the Faberge egg.
