Good alternatives to EBay as a seller?

6. Some sellers on my OIC board have had very good results there...

it's not eBay but if you sell handcrafted, craft supplies, antiques and collectibles it's certainly one to check out. :)

Another one they've mentioned some luck on is Bonanzle and Amazon (Wagglepop has come up but it's had problems in the past so folks are weary of it I think). It really depends on what you sell but with things are as they are with the economy I really think it's more important then ever to spread out.

3. I wish a site would mimic ebay's original format and have enough

money to advertise itself on television, radio and in print media to attract people. It would be an almost superhuman feat to create an auction site that would be equal to ebay, but I sure wish someone would. Pierre what's-his-name who started ebay ought to start another site that would be true to his original vision. Of course, he probably spends his days counting the mile high piles of cash he raked in from ebay . . . oh well.
